Right on the banks of the Blue River downtown, the Riverwalk Center is Breckenridge Creative Arts’ premier performance venue. And for many, it’s become the cultural living room of our town!

The Riverwalk Center offers so much throughout the year, and yet many don’t realize just how accessible (and inspiring) this gem really is! Whether you want to take in a summer concert or need a fun way to upgrade your date night, why not make it happen at the Riverwalk?

Here’s all you need to know about seating, sound, tickets, parking – and a few insider angles you’ll only get from the locals!

What Is the Riverwalk Center?

The Riverwalk Center is a 750-seat indoor performance hall in Breckenridge. Located at 150 W. Adams Ave. in Blue River Plaza, this venue has room for up to 1,000 for standing events.

The center was originally designed by local architect Harry Teague in 1993 and fully renovated in 2008 with an $8 million overhaul. Now the venue is owned by the Town of Breckenridge and operated by our team at Breck Create.

But the unique part of the Riverwalk Center isn’t just the great programming. It’s the design that lends itself to incredible experiences. It’s heated and fully enclosed, but with glass doors that open onto an expansive green lawn in summer. There’s no other place that gives every show that rare combination of indoor sound quality and mountain-air spirit.

The venue runs two annual seasons: Winter (December–March) and Summer (June–October). All events are all-ages unless otherwise noted.

Breck Create Pro Tip: Arrive 20–30 minutes before showtime to enjoy the Blue River Plaza before the doors open. The river views, benches, and nearby restaurants like Twist and Ember make the pre-show walk part of the experience.
