ACTION! is a curated monthly series at the Old Masonic Hall Gallery that celebrates cinema as an art form. Each evening pairs an artful short film with a feature-length classic, inviting audiences to experience the evolution of filmmaking through works that have shaped visual culture, inspired generations of artists, and challenged the boundaries of storytelling. 

Before each screening, attendees will enjoy a brief introduction exploring the films’ historical context, artistic innovations, and lasting cultural impact. Whether examining groundbreaking cinematography, experimental narrative techniques, pioneering animation, or influential genre-defining works, each program is thoughtfully curated to spark conversation and deepen appreciation for the art of film.
