Part of a landmark statewide celebration, Stories in the Sky is bringing Colorado’s 150th and America’s 250th anniversaries to life through a sweeping series of nearly 150 drone shows across the state through 2026. Led by the America 250 - Colorado 150 Commission in partnership with the Colorado Tourism Office, this initiative transforms the night sky into a canvas of light, movement, and storytelling—creating shared moments designed to be seen, felt, and remembered.

As one of a select few host locations, Breckenridge offers a unique chance to experience this large-scale spectacle firsthand. Set against the backdrop of the mountains, the show delivers a reimagined 4th of July moment—blending innovation, artistry, and community into something truly unforgettable.
