Eves of History: Barney Ford Museum

On the eve of Colorado Day, join Breckenridge History at the Barney Ford Museum for an open house and living history presentation. Award-winning author, historian, theater director, performer and educator, Angel Vigil will portray Casimiro Barela. Barela was known as the Legendary Perpetual Senator, longest-serving state senator in Colorado history, and as the Father of the Colorado Senate. During the presentation, hear the story of his life and the creation of the 38th Star, the state of Colorado. An open house at the Barney Ford Museum will follow. Learn more at breckhistory.org
