Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again.
Adapted from Agatha Christie’s masterpiece by two-time Tony-nominated playwright Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, Crazy for You), Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is a funny, fast-paced thrill ride.
Approx Run Time: 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission
Age Recommendation: Ages 10 and up. We encourage you to use your judgment based on your child’s age and maturity level
Content Considerations: Features staged violence, murder, tense dramatic scenes, and minimal adult language. The play is known for being a fast-paced “whodunit” that emphasizes suspense and mystery rather than graphic gore.
