4th of July in Breckenridge

July 4th, 2024

CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH BRECK CREATE
Every Independence Day, Breckenridge comes alive with patriotism, parties and the annual Main Street Parade. It’s a day of celebration that includes athletic competitions, live music, art festivals, family activities and a few of our favorite small-town traditions. Breck Create’s July 4th events are presented in conjunction with the Town of Breckenridge’s July Fourth weekend celebration. Big thanks to our 2023 community partners, the Art Cartopia Museum and The Cycle Effect.

This year’s annual event on the Arts District Campus is a day-long celebration of the freedom to be yourself. Enjoy live music on the AirStage and family-friendly activities like chalk art, crafts and lawn games.

Firework-Free 4th of July
The town of Breckenridge will not offer a firework display as part of its Independence Day Celebration. Colorado’s low humidity has its perks, but can also can create dry conditions. Our community places a high value on wildfire prevention, and we thank guests in advance for not using fireworks in Breckenridge this Fourth of July. Learn more about preventing wildfires.
