Join us for a two-day workshop where you’ll learn to create a small bench or side table using plastic that cannot be recycled in summit county collected by community members. On the first day of the workshop, participants will create 2x4 beams using our extruder machine. On day two, participants will cut their beams, assemble their bench and take home a functional piece of art. 
 

What to Know Before Registering

Safety is the highest priority in this class. Please wear long pants, closed toe shoes and secure long hair. During this class participants will be required to wear an organic vapor half face respirator mask with activated carbon filters to protect from harmful fumes while melting plastic. Mask usage is not optional during melting and participants who will not wear their mask will be asked to leave without a refund.

PRICING

Breck Create Members: $45, no fees
Non-members: $60 + $6 service fee
The cost of the class includes materials and use of studio equipment and tools. 

AGE REQUIREMENT

Participants must be 17 or older to participate.
