Craft a Wooden Bowl: Beginner Woodworking
In this beginner-friendly session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of carving, focusing on how to read grain patterns and safely manage sharp edge tools. Your instructor will guide you through the physical techniques of hollowing, paring, and shaping a solid block of wood into a graceful, functional vessel. By emphasizing the mastery of the hand gouge, you’ll develop a deep connection to the material and finish the day with a unique, hand-textured bowl that bears the beautiful, authentic marks of your own craftsmanship.
