Ceramics Studio Operations Certification: Series

Ceramics Studio Operations Certification: Series

$300 - $409

This course will go in depth over the basic needs and operations of every ceramic studio and will be specifically geared towards the initial setup of your own ceramic studio.

We’ll go over considerations of location, water, choice of equipment, how to build a wedging table and much more. Hands-on demonstrations will include how to make a plaster wedging block, recycle and pug clay, and how to prep, load and unload kilns. This course is for the ceramist that has at least a foundational understanding of how the ceramic process works.  Whether you are a very skilled potter aiming to go into production or someone who has dabbled in the studio for a few years and is curious to see what’s involved in creating a home studio, this course is for the both of you.
