Glassblowing: Stir Sticks
Dive into the mesmerizing world of flameworking and craft a functional piece of art that adds a splash of personality to your bar cart or coffee nook. In this class you’ll learn to harness the heat of the torch to melt and manipulate colorful glass rods into whimsical, miniature worlds atop elegant stir sticks. The instructor will guide you through the essentials of heat control, gravity, and glass compatibility. It’s a perfect introduction to the “glass world” leaving you with a custom-made glass stirrer.
