This workshop offers a playful space to capture your favorite person through any lens you choose, whether you want to master the fine lines of Realism or dive into the fragmented world of Cubism. You can spend the evening carefully mapping out the light and shadow of your partner’s features for a classic likeness, or throw the rulebook away to paint them in vibrant, abstract “Picasso-style” bursts of color and shape. Guided by dynamic prompts that help you translate their personality onto the canvas, the class focuses on the connection between artist and subject, culminating in a “Grand Reveal” where you see yourselves through each other’s eyes—whether as a polished portrait or a wild, avant-garde masterpiece.

What to know before registering

Tickets will include 1 drink of beer or wine. Additional drinks are available for purchase. Participants must be 21 or older to attend.

Este taller ofrece un espacio divertido para captar a tu persona favorita a través del prisma de tu elección, bien sea que desees dominar los trazos sutiles del realismo, o si prefieres sumergirte en el mundo fragmentado del cubismo. Puedes pasar la noche trazando cuidadosamente las luces y sombras de los rasgos de tu mejor amigo/a para lograr un retrato clásico, o romper las reglas para pintarlo en explosiones de color y de formas vibrantes y abstractas al “estilo Picasso”. Guiados por dinámicas indicaciones que te ayudarán a plasmar su personalidad en el lienzo, la clase se enfoca en la conexión entre el artista y el/la modelo, y culmina en una “gran revelación” en la que podrás ver a través de los ojos de otro, ya sea en forma de un refinado retrato  o de una obra maestra atrevida y vanguardista.
