Intro to Film Photography

Hosted at Summit High School, this two-day workshop teaches the fundamentals of analog photography using black and white film. Students will learn the multistep process from taking photographs, developing film, scanning photos, and developing prints in the darkroom. 

This class includes the cost of materials and the use of the darkroom. Participants should bring their own analog/film camara or can borrow one of ours with a $70 refundable deposit. 

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING 

This is a two-day workshop. Participants are registering for and must attend both days.

Without Camera Rental

  • Breck Create Members: $45

  • Non-Members: $60

With Camera Rental

  • Breck Create Members: $130

  • Non-Members: $115

To borrow a camera, select the rental option at checkout. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the workshop provided that the camera is returned in good working condition. Camera deposit is $70.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Participants must be 17 or older to participate.
