Kishi Bashi
As part of the 2025 Breckenridge International Festival of Arts, Emmy-nominated singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Kishi Bashi brings his signature blend of cinematic pop and orchestral brilliance to the Riverwalk stage. A classically trained violinist and Berklee College of Music alum, Kishi Bashi has performed with symphonies across the country and toured with artists like Regina Spektor and of Montreal.
His debut album 151a (2012) earned praise from NPR and led to appearances at SXSW, Austin City Limits, and late-night shows like SNL and Fallon. Since then, he’s released a series of acclaimed albums, scored Apple TV+’s Stillwater, and created Omoiyari—a poignant project exploring Japanese American identity through music and film.
His newest release, Kantos (2024), channels sci-fi, ancient philosophy, and global influences into a kaleidoscopic sonic journey. Don’t miss this genre-defying performance at BIFA—where sound, story, and artistry come together under the mountain sky.
