Discover the unique artistry of stained glass and elevate any space by transforming simple materials into mesmerizing treasures that capture the beauty of both light and color. In this 2-day introductory stained-glass workshop, you will explore the fundamentals of the copper foil method, including glass cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to take home your own 6-piece mountain-themed suncatcher.  

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING

All tools and materials are provided. Students will be working with sharp glass and hot soldering irons, safety glasses and thorough instruction are included, but minor injuries such as cuts or burns are possible.

Safety is an extremely high priority in this class. Please wear natural fiber clothing (such as cotton or wool) and if possible, we encourage students with glasses to wear contact lenses.

This class is perfect for beginners—no prior experience necessary. Recommended for ages 16 and up.
