Popsicle
Parents and children headed to Vista Point Park in the Wellington Neighborhood might be surprised to see what looks like a large, inverted orange popsicle next to the playground equipment. This whimsical steel sculpture by Doyle Svenby stood out as a clear favorite among all ages at the 2008 Sculpture on the Blue exhibit, after which the Public Art Commission launched a community-wide fundraising effort to buy it. In the end, the Town of Breckenridge purchased the popular piece for the public art collection.
