This is a three-class instructor-led series on the art of hand coiling large pottery vessels. Delve into the fascinating technique of crafting clay vessels by skillfully stacking and shaping clay coils, enabling you to fashion your very own distinctive designs. During these classes, you’ll gain expertise in both hand coiling methods and the utilization of a coil extruder.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING
Ceramics is a multi-step process that takes many weeks for a completed glazed project. Kiln firings occur when there is enough work to fill the kiln. For in depth ceramic glazing instructions and techniques, please consider taking the Ceramic Glazing Class to complete your projects.
This is a series of classes. You MUST sign-up before the FIRST CLASS in a series. When you sign-up, you commit to 3 weeks of classes that repeat every Thursday.
