In this class you will learn the fundamentals of oil painting by creating their own beautiful landscape. From setting up and preparing your surface, to the care of your materials and finished work, participants will learn how to apply paint, light, values, composition, and how to mix colors. 

This class is specifically designed for the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA). BIFA offers participatory workshops and immersive art experiences for everyone, including free nature-based art classes and workshops inspired by the Festival artists.

Breck Create Members: $30, no fees
Non-Members: $40 + $4 service fee
The cost of the class includes materials and use of studio equipment and tools.

Age Requirement

Participants must be 17 or older to participate.
