Beginner Screen Printing - Reusable Bags

(BIFA) Breckenridge International Festival of Arts

Have an awesome print design you Love? Join us to learn how to create a silkscreen design of your very own and experiment with printing your first one color images. Paper is provided for printing and students can bring an item from home such as a T-shirt, bandana, tote, tea towel, with which they can experiment printing on.

This class is specifically designed for the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA). BIFA offers participatory workshops and immersive art experiences for everyone, including free nature-based art classes and workshops inspired by the Festival artists.

What to Know Before Registering

Template images and designs will be provided or participants can bring a printed or sketched design from home. If bringing a design, please note the below specifications to maximize successful printing. If you have a special design in mind, it is requested that the image you’d like to work with be emailed to silkcraftstudios@gmail.com at least 2 hours prior to the class start time (3.30pm MST).

Design Specifications: Images should be Solid Black and White with Strong Bold Line Work.

Note: Avoid very small detailed or complex line work.

Design size: 4”x5”

Pricing

Breck Create Members: $30
Non-members: $44 ($40 + $4 service fee)
The cost of the class includes materials and use of studio equipment and tools. 

Age Requirement

Participants must be 17 or older to participate.
