Linocut printing is a versatile and engaging printmaking technique that allows you to create bold, striking images and interesting designs. In this class, beginners will learn the essential skills and techniques needed to craft their own linocut botanical themed prints. Our instructor will guide you through the step-by-step process, ensuring that you gain a solid foundation in this traditional art form. 

This class is specifically designed for the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA). BIFA offers participatory workshops and immersive art experiences for everyone, including free nature-based art classes and workshops inspired by the Festival artists.

What to Know Before Registering

This class is bilingual Spanish/English! 

You’ll become familiar with the tools and materials needed for linocut printing, including linoleum blocks, carving tools, inks, brayers, and paper.

Breck Create Members: $30
Non-members: $40 + $4 service fee
The cost of the class includes materials and use of studio equipment and tools. 

AGE REQUIREMENT

Participants must be 17 or older to participate.
