Ready to combine your love for climbing with your morning coffee ritual? In this unique hand-building ceramics class, you’ll sculpt your very own personalized mug from clay. But here’s the twist: instead of a traditional handle, you’ll learn to securely attach a climbing hold directly to your mug!

We’ll guide you through fundamental hand-building techniques, from forming the mug body to selecting and integrating your chosen climbing hold. Perfect for climbers, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a truly gripping coffee experience! No prior clay experience is needed, just a readiness to get creative.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING

Ceramics is a multi step process that takes many weeks for a completed glazed project. Kiln firings occur when there is enough work to fill the kiln. For ceramic glazing instructions and techniques, please consider taking the Ceramics Glazing Class to complete your project.

Pricing

Breck Create Members: $48.75, no fees
Non-Members: $65 + $6.50 service fee
The cost of the class includes materials and use of studio equipment and tools.

Participants must be 17 or older to participate.
