Edible wild plants are the best kind of food—free, organic, and delicious. What edible plants can be found in Breckenridge?

Join Wild Food Girl (Erica Davis) for a walk and talk on edible wild plants in the area—including identification, harvest, use, and sustainability—followed by hands-on food preparation and a tasting back at the Arts District. 

This class is specifically designed for the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA). BIFA offers participatory workshops and immersive art experiences for everyone, including free nature-based art classes and workshops inspired by the Festival artists.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING

This class will meet at the parking lot of Colorado Mountain College - Breckenridge for a 1.5 hour hike. Participants will then drive themselves to Old Masonic Hall for hands-on food preparation. 

Pricing

• Breck Create Members: $57, no fees

• Non-members: $83 ($75 + $8 service fee)

The cost of the class includes materials and use of studio equipment. 

Age Requirement

Participants must be 15 or older to participate.
