A fun and friendly competition based class, inspired by a popular British TV show.

Suitable for any level of student who has either taken the Beginner Wheel Series or already has an established foundation in wheel throwing.

No matter what your skill level is, do not anticipate making something you want to keep. Participants will throw head-to-head in various speed throwing challenges, such as the 10 minute teapot or 10 minute nesting bowls. The instructor will give a demo on how to achieve each challenge, and the participants will vote on the challenge winners. The goal is to have fun while improving throwing ability through speed and repetition.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING

Ceramics is a multi step process that takes many weeks for a completed glazed project. Kiln firings occur when there is enough work to fill the kiln. For ceramic glazing instructions and techniques, please consider taking the Ceramics Glazing Class to complete your project.

Breck Create Members: $41.25, no fees
Non-Members: $55 + $6.50 service fee
The cost of the class includes materials and use of studio equipment and tools.

Age Requirement

Participants must be 17 or older to participate.
